During the pandemic, I reconnected with creating outdoors, or "en plein air" after the French Impressionists who championed this lively painting method. I continue expanding my plein air skills - working quickly to capture the light takes strategy and planning, and a good kit of supplies always on the ready. I so enjoy creating these smaller works!
