Soft gold light lingers as the day's sun slides below the horizon. This on-going series features limited and shifted palettes and explores the light and shadow and ever changing colors in a forest meditation.

Sometimes getting lost is the way to be found. Inspired by Galway Kinnel's sentiment, “The first step in the journey is to lose your way", this piece invites the viewer into a walk in the woods to find their own path.

Crisp fall day. Damp leaves in a cool forest. Sun bursts through the overstory. Warmth on your face. This is what Gimme the Light is about, rediscovering the simple joy that can be found on a walk in the woods. Central Washington, near Lake Wenatchee.

SKY FEEDER
Created from over 300 mirrors, this "bowl" captures the sky and mixes viewer and nature together. Featured as part of the 2014 Heaven & Earth 6 exhibit at Carkeek Park curated by the Center on Contemporary Art Seattle.
TRANSITION & TRANSFORM GREEN ROOF ART INSTALLATION
The TRANSition and TRANSform green roof art installation celebrated the changing nature of the South Dome area of Tacoma during the Lightrail construction. Featuring a grid of sedums atop a construction trailer and inspirational green roof and sustainability fence mural, this artwork was created by team lead Teresa Stern, with team members Buster Simpson and Patrick Carey.
