Cloud Twist
It's worth it to rise early on a cold January day and wander into town for a pastry... especially in Port Townsend Washington, where you might glimpse a soft slice of peach light peeking through the morning cloud layer. I love watching the sun slowing heat the clouds, as they twist and roll and disperse as the day emerges. Painted from the perspective on the hill, looking over downtown toward Marrowstone Island and the mainland beyond.
