Soft Light on Elliott Bay
I love how light is almost doubled as it reflects off water, in this case on the rippling incoming tide during early an October sunset on Shilshole. Painted in the studio based on site observations and sketches. The tip of the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle is in the mid-ground, with Bainbridge Island and the Olympic Mountains beyond.
