Winter Pond with Heron

Giclee print of my Field Project oil painting "Winter Pond with Heron", painted based on site studies and sketches from the woodland pond at Golden Gardens in NW Seattle. I love the subtle colors of winter, soft golden buff grasses, oranges and rusts of fallen leaves and bramble. This heron was there every day during my Field Project observations, and I just had to include it in the piece!
